The coming week simply couldn’t be any more sweeter in Australia, thanks to the launch of Eau de Juice – Cosmopolitan’s new fragrance collection. I was lucky enough to be able to attend the perfume launch this week right here in Sydney, an amazing event held on a sunny spring afternoon in one of the most Instagrammable places in Sydney. Cosmopolitan is a brand I’ve loved since being a pre-teen growing up and even (way ) back in my high school days I’d always make sure I got the latest issue of Cosmo every month! Admittedly that even whilst my magazine purchases have definitely dropped since the online era has taken over and publications have switched over to an increased digital presence, my love for this young women’s media brand stays strong…

Eau de juice is a collaboration between Cosmopolitan (part of Hearst Magazines) and Luxe Brands (who are behind the massively successful fragrances from Ariana Grande), brokered by IMG. What makes Eau de Juice different from other Luxe Brand fragrances is that this perfume it isn’t aligned with any particular celebrity – it’s appealing because anyone can wear it and truly make it their own signature scent. The Cosmopolitan brand name isn’t even emblazoned on the perfume itself, simply being visible in smaller text at the lower end of the scent’s packaging. And these pop-art inspired perfume bottles couldn’t be any more fun or Instagrammable!

Meet your main squeeze!
There are four different scents available in the collection – Pure Sugar, 100% Chilled, Love Unfiltered and Extra Concentrated. Each scent is uniquely it’s own, so there’s a perfect one which will match whatever OOTD or mood you’re in! My two favourites were the Pure Sugar and 100% Chilled. I’m going to give you a rundown of each fragrance and my own personal take on them…

100% Chilled
In the prettiest baby blue coloured bottle, this scent stays true to its name for when you want to chill out and evoke a feeling of relaxation. Top notes of red berries and bergamont, Heart notes of Orange blossom and coconut water and base notes of Cashmere woods, musk & sandalwood.

Love, Unfiltered
A floral gourmand concoction within the white juice container – Love, Unfiltered is totally guilt free! Fragrance notes include red berries & mandarin for top notes, wild freesia & star jasmine petals for the heart notes with base notes including blonde woods and amber.

Extra Concentrated
The most extra bottle of the collection, this golden one is for when you’re feeling OTT and want your scent to match! Top notes include red berries & mandarin, heart notes include wild freesia with star jasmine petals and base notes are a match of blonde woods with amber.

Pure Sugar
My personal favourite of the four and not just because it matched my OOTD at the event! The pink bottle of Pure Sugar is sweetly flirtatious, fruity and feminine. And who says we just wear pink on Wednesdays?! I could envision myself wearing this one on the daily….Top notes are a pairing of wild strawberry with pink grapefruit, heart notes match up plum blossom with pink pepper whilst base notes are a perfect mix of jasmine sambac with praline.

Cosmopolitans with Cosmo
Eau de Juice launched in style here this week, with the event being held at one of my favourite places in Sydney, Hacienda Bar. It was a fun afternoon mixing with other Sydney creatives as well as having the chance to meet with Nicole, Anna & Harv from Cosmopolitan and learn more about the collection. Everything from the people & location to the sweets & food, pr staff, cocktails and setting was on point and attendees were even lucky enough to walk away with a gift bag as well of two perfumes from the collection!

“Fragrance is a Cosmo girl’s best secret weapon and the new ‘Eau de Juice’ collection inspires a range of scents that speak to every whim and fancy while adding a little pizazz to her daily routine” said Steve Ross, Global Head of Brand Development and Chief Licensing Officer for Hearst Magazines. After an ultra-successful campaign in the states with Ashley Benson as the spokesperson, the fragrance hits shores down under this week, and will be available in Priceline stores nationally, retailing for $69AUD for each 50ml perfume. Make sure you grab one quickly, I think it’s going to be a hot summer in Oz!

I hope you have enjoyed this post on Cosmopolitan’s Eau de Juice fragrance collection! Let me know which one you think you would like the best!
